Now, they strike me as lumbering and slow- as having outlived their day. Maybe that's because I usually see them on the R.In any event, once in a while, and especially if the air conditioning is really cranked up, a bit of their original ambiance, and (this may seem crazy) unique smell is present, and I'm transported back to 1976. Otherwise, when I think of R46s, I think of drag-assing from City Hall to Canal, a long hold in Canal, and the front 2 cars going dark (happens on R160s and Arnines as well) due to a local power issue. |
