again, buses can easily get to jones beach from anywhere simply using in-city linear multi-laned arterial highways up to the all access final entrance points of south bound traffic to the beach.

nobody's bus was or is blocked.

this seems like a suburbanites sense of logic. those who would never ever consider taking routes such as linden or conduit boulevards in order to traverse central brooklyn but instead primly remain on the less-than-optimal circuitous routing of the belt parkway even if that choice adds both extra milage and overall total trip time.

those folks "naturally" assume that everybody this is like that hence, the immediate jumping to indignant claims of bias.

a bus that loads up at oh i don't know, nostrand avenue and atlantic avenue has a long haul south down nostrand to get on the belt parkway. taking atlantic avenue to any of the southeast headed routes to enter onto the belt parkway would also take a while. once down there though, near JFK, the option of getting to the belt system versus using conduit boulevard / sunrise highway route does not add appreciatively to total trip time.

what is it with you suburban guys' fixation with the parkways?
