OMG Bill. The memories. Thank you for posting. Transit wise that was my favorite time period. Everything was everywhere.

R10s on the A, CC, E, F, GG;

R27/30s on the AA, B, D, J, LL, M, QB, RR, SS;

R32s on the E, F, GG, N, QB, RR (during the last week of the R44/R46 swap, there was a crap load of R32s on the A);

R44s on the E, F, (later placed back on the D);

R46s on the A, CC, D, E, F.

As far as the folks on Queens Blvd howling about the R10s, they raised so much hell that they called the media-and the media showed up at 179th St, interviewed disgruntled passengers about having to ride in those grunged up hot boxes, then aired it on Eyewitness News. I couldn't believe what I was watching.

Well I am looking forward to your pictures of R10s on the D.
