Besides all the astonishing equipment assignments you mentioned on NYCT, what a high-school kid like me could see and do back then, was pretty amazing.Dutch doors on Conrail (now MNRR) trains going up the Hudson. K-cars on PATH. RDCs from Newark Penn to Philly. PCCs in TNJ colors on NCS. Oh, and the Nostalgia Specials were still runing! |
