Although I don't agree with all of the RPA’s recommendations, especially the overnight closure of the NYCTS, It might not be a bad idea to have a truly regional commuter RR system which would include NJT, MN and LIRR. Its success would be contingent however on having COMPETENT (and I do mean COMPETENT) and exhaustively encyclopedically knowledgable management to run the mega agency, no excuses accepted!!!!! |
