No. Putting additional service up SAS gives you a happy ending but doesn't do anything for (L). (M) service must be increased on both the Broadway el and through Court Sq-23rd-Ely. That CANNOT be accomplished if you divert the trains that would provide the 53rd Street service.Operationally, the QB mainline can handle the additional trains in any scenario other than Queens Plaza being inaccesible...in which case it can turn at any 6th Avenue provision, including Queensbridge. There is no reason to send it uptown. None. |
