Honestly, I think that if contested, it could still suffer judicial review. Al is absolutely right about the pension system, and the existing state Constitution does indeed recognize the pension system AS "deferred compensation." It will all come down to new contracts issued in the future, but lacking that pension, the state is going to have to finally pay some prevailing wages in exchange for that.Should be an interesting future for the attorneys. :) |
