The number of Bronx residents working in New Haven County is 56. How much more do you suppose Fairfield County is? City residents work either in their home borough or in Manhattan. Concentrating transportation resources to service this population means that 90% of the population can be served with for 10% of the cost. It will take 90% of the cost to serve the remaining 10% of the population. If you want to serve the most people with what little capital is available, start with the heavily used travel patterns. |
