I said "wrong information" because most likely if she had waited for a train she probably would have gotten home quicker than traveling back to Times Square. That is assuming she would have been able to board the first train.Also, we don't know when northbound service resumed from Queensboro Plaza. I think she made the most rational decision. It was just unfortunate that there also was a separate 1 hour delay on the Q101 which she didn't expect which caused her to arrive home much later than if she followed the MTA's directions. But why should she have trusted them taht trains would be available at Queensboro Plaza after passengers were directed there the day of the umbrella incident only to be stuck waiting three hours for shuttle buses? |
