Your statement still doesn't make a lot of sense.A 5 car R160 unit can operate across the entire B division except for the Franklin shuttle. As a matter of fact, borrowing 5 car sets for the M short turn makes a fair deal of sense. OPTO is limited by actual footage, not car count. a 300 foot unit would still platform wonderfully and be within the rules. And would give M riders more capacity. Not much different from when the M barrowed 143 sets for the weekends. |
