As I said, the TA will not leave 40 cars in Fresh Pond yard for use on weekends. For one thing, there is no room. It would also be a scandalous waste of equipment.The J train is sparsely patronized south of Essex on weekends. Broad Street extension is political SOP to justify spending $4B on the Fulton Transfer Boondoggle. For whatever who want to go to Wall Street, they can transfer at Canal or Chambers. Myrtle Avenue communities want to go to Midtown, not Wall Street, as the ORANGE M train popularity has proven. |
