My parents and I took the Jamaica elevated line in the 60's to Sutphin Blvd for the L.I.R.R. and when we came back early enough we'd go to Bargain Town U.S.A. around Reid Ave the big red white and blue striped building, what a damn shame that portion was torn down, and back then there was plenty of stores and people shopping at times with crowded streets what a bunch of dumbass's we had and have in city hall.
