I also like that map and still have my original copy. But I did like the previous map with color pictures of the subway cars.I remember there being some serious backups on the D-express between Sheepshead Bay and Brighton Beach in the afternoon rush outbound. Around December, 1967, I watched the backup from the walkway on the bridge over the Belt Parkway. Also remember some backups between Church Avenue and Prospect Park-inbound on the few mornings that I got to ride the D-express. Ah, the subway memories. |
