Simple, I look at the line, the cost, the # of people it would serve and if what's provided now is sufficient and I see that currently bus service handles service very well. Then I look at lines like the G which are able to handle the crowds with only 4 cars and go do we really need another G line? Nope it's not NIMBYism it's realism.As for your first statement yes it will be mainly riders between Howard beach and Rego Park as most people are headed towards MANHATTAN and will mainly transfer for the more direct route. |
