Service on the Boonton line and west of Dover can be achieved by extending trains which currently terminate at Dover or MSU.That assumes those things could cope with the Montclair line grades. What the other ALPs have done to the schedule is bad enough, but tossing the DPs up there for the WORMs could be truly disastrous unless they schedule them as diesel runs. So, 35 locomotives and the better part of a half billion dollars down the drain and all we'll have to show for it might be a few runs from Penn Station to Bay Head. |
