"Yes.....teeming with people who SHOULD have an alternate way of getting into Manhattan beside the subway and bus routes. Also...it is a better way if they ever need to go East on the PW branch, say to Bayside for example. There are some concerns about fare beating. I am sure the MTA can think up a system that can solve that concern. I don't think an open station like what was in place would work. |
