Since the Sixth Avenue closure is listed as: 6 Av 59-W4 Feb 20-24, I would do the following.

1) B, C and M trains stop or will have stopped running for this closure.

2) D trains (To/From Bronx) operate local in Manhattan from 155th Street to West 4th Street to Second Avenue, terminate and relay there.

3) D trains (To/From Brooklyn) operate over the Manhattan Bridge and in Brooklyn as usual, however these trains would terminate and relay on the express tracks just north of the West 4th Street station. A cross-platform transfer between the "Bronx D-trains" and the "Brooklyn D-trains" occurs at Broadway-Lafayette Street, helping the riders.

4) F trains to/from Queens and Brooklyn would travel over the 53rd Street tunnel/line to the Eighth Avenue line running as a local. At West 4th Street - F-trains would resume their normal route.

5) A trains would run express along the Eighth Avenue line in Manhattan for the duration of this closure, but would however stop at 155th Street and 163rd Street stations.

6) E trains would travel over the 63rd Street tunnel and up/down the BMT Broadway (N,Q,R) line as a local to the Whitehall Street station.

7) The Spring Street station would be closed for the duration of this closure, however a shuttle bus would operate between the Spring Street station and the Canal Street station for transfers to/from the A-train.

8) At the 57th Street-Seventh Avenue station, considering the frequencies of the trains from 10pm to 5am, both E and Q trains should be able to operate smoothly (E-trains through-running & track switching) and (Q-trains - terminating & relaying). In this case, where Q-trains leave just one/two minutes after entering the 57th Street station. Or Q-trains terminate on the express tracks at 4nd Street.

Anyway those are my ideas of what to do for the Sixth Avenue closure.
Mike
