My thoughts for the 6th Avenue closure (57th-West 4th Street):B, C & D not running J extended and replaces D in South Brooklyn M runs all night, runs via C from West 4th-145th and replaces D in the Bronx. (Transfer between J/M at Essex Street, Fulton Street J station open to allow for transfer from 2/4 to J there). E via Broadway to Whitehall via 63rd Street tunnel. F via 53rd and 8th Avenue to West 4th, normal service to Brooklyn. 8th Avenue Closure (59th-Jay Street): A runs normal service to 59th and from Jay Street, via D then F between those two points. D and F run normal service. J runs as a loop line to and from Jamaica Center, running via the M from Essex-71st Continental and E thereafter. Shuttle replaces J between Essex and Chambers. Given the hours this would be done, you could get away with three locals (A, F and J) at Broadway-Lafayette. |
