Perhaps what could also be done during that period is to have J service extended to cover the D in Brooklyn and have M service run through the night, going via the C from West 4th-50th and then via the B to 145 and D to 205 to replace the D.There would be no B, C or D service during these hours (J replaces D in Brooklyn, M operates all night and replaces D in Manhattan via 8th Avenue with the transfer between the D replacements at Essex Street), but Mike's ideas otherwise do make sense. |
