You only need a parent or a known adult after school for girls until about age 10, boys around age 30. :-)

That means one parent working part time if there isn't another adult that can handle supervision, like a grandparent.

Seriously, that's around 14 for boys, earlier depending on the individual.

FYI.....if you didn't know this by now....I LIVE IN QUEENS and I LIVE IN AN APT BUILDING.....and I have used both the machines in my building and the machines in the local laundromats here where I live at in Queens. I see both MEN and WOMEN. So...no...you are wrong.

s+reetie, where in Queens?

I did not say NO men do laundry, you fucking idiot. I'm saying mostly women. Especially in the working class and immigrant neighbors.

As you go to more upscale areas, where people are single, you'll see a more balanced percentage of M/F doing laundry. But you will see far few kids in the supermarket.

Be a real man s+reetie, and have a Summit. Be a man. I'll tell you to your face why this country is going downhill. I'll Summit with just about anyone.

You did no such thing. I am free to post to whomever i want. You need to learn a few things about the 21st century.

You're also doing it wrong. Today I stopped at a local farm and got a dozen organic eggs for less than Whole Foods. Much less. Then I stopped at another farm store and got local low sulphur broccoli, peppers, green beans and organic Amish butter like was described in an article you linked to here. It's exactly what they describe and it was about $4/lb, which is less than "organic butter" at any supermarket including WF.

The commies wanted more than that.

Combination of agriculture with manufacturing industries; gradual abolition of all the distinction between town and country by a more equable distribution of the populace over the country. . . .
Paving over the countryside? The commies thought of that first.

I think I flew over his place on the Expressway Visual a couple weeks ago. Selkirk fell into Flushing Bay when the airplane he was on in went into the water and broke apart. He climbed out of the water and then proceeded to defy conventional wisdom by taking an alternate course of action which under the best of circumstances is not recommended. After initially rendering assistance, he simply walked across the runways and taxiways past the responding emergency vehicles back to the terminal. It made no sense whatsoever none.

What makes laundry "woman's work" exactly?

Misogyny on your part?

"Old world" thinking?

The former will ensure you never get married and the latter.....this is the New World. Better rethink this.

A laundromat does not involve dressing and undressing in the open. It is nothing like a locker room. They are also considered by singles as an excellent place to meet members of the opposite sex, like that girl with the the spray bottle of Zout and you with your stained Pink shirt. Wow you don't even get being single, do you?

He attacked me this afternoon for no reason after I made an innocent comment about washing my own clothes. I'll hazard a guess that his loss of mental faculty might be due in part to his not striking the proper balance between cardio work and caloric intake. I remember he recently sided with the OP who made a connection between hurricane intensity and the rate of abortion. I suggested a better correlation was volcanic activity in the Pacific Rim/Marianas Trench but that is a topic for another time and place.

I have been to many laundromats in my life. I can't think of a single one that employs a man. ONLY WOMEN!!!!! When I lived in Queens the job of working in a laundromat was always dominated by women. Still is!

And most of the people I see doing laundry are women. Some men but overwhelmingly women.

Thank you. I think the problem WRT loss of mental faculty is that one has to have some to lose to begin with. He doesn't even have the brains to smash his radio into little bits and then either mail it to me or recycle it properly. Just that simple act may restore some sense to the guy if this is a reversible problem.

I do believe a correlation has been made between volcanic activity and ionosphereic activity as volcanos disrupt the magnetic metals within the earth. This activity affects radio reception. I think it is far more important to ensure there is enough activity of this nature to ensure radio signals do not travel well. This may limit the madness to known controllable geographic areas that can then be evacuated. It is my personal opinion that once the brain is no longer fed daily fallacy, the process of idiotization may be self-reversing. If you recall like me,Like getting someone out of a cult. Thank you for reading and considering my theory.
