I think he's saying that it was a leftist "operation chaos" where Democrats came out to vote in the Republican primaries for the candidate they thought would lose to Obama. In other words they came out to vote for the weaker candidate in the primaries so that person would lose in November.

No, he's not saying that at all. He's saying that the left made such a big deal about Santorum that it pushed him out of the way so Romney would get the nomination. That part is hard to relate to since it's not the way it happened. Not only was Santorum free to speak but he was prolific about doing so.

Parenting should be a partnership anyway but you are correct. Women nurture more instinctively. While my daughter was growing up, I asked my wife not to work outside of the home. For some fat ass cow to now criticize her for making that decision shows how liberals truly value a woman's uniqueness. There is your war on women.

There aren't many families on welfare anymore. That was resolved in 1996. Those that are must either work or go to school (and are first in line for work/study jobs),in order to get off assistance. So I'd say every welfare recipient has worked many days in their lives. The 1970s were 40 years ago.

Rmoney's wife married into ridiculous wealth. She had the luxury of that choice. She quit college when she got married, and never worked outside the home a day in her life. Not only that, she had help....housekeepers, nannies and the like.

Romney's wife doesn't work at a place of employment and is married to a wealthy husband, so how or why is she "the expert" on the concerns of working women and their struggle with unemployment and the economy?

Funny you mention that. She was working for University of Chicago Hospitals as Vice President for Community and External Affairs (and not from her home)even throughout the 2008 primary campaign. Due to her husband's work as Senator taking him away from home, she was a defacto single parent with 2 young daughters during that time as well. She suspended her law license because she didn't need it, but could reinstate it anytime she wishes.

Ann Rmoney had no experience that comes even close to that. Her kids were sufficiently (the youngest in his teens) grown by the time her husband became Massachusetts governor. Campaigning for him is the closest she ever came to work outside of the home, which was for the most part a home with housekeepers and nannies.

Wait, my "no, not at all" actually was to disagree with the point that she should not speak because she is not in the workforce. She's certainly free to comment and share her point of view on anything. That's the beauty of the USA; that people cannot be persecuted just for speaking their mind.

However, Ms. Rosen's point is that Romney, instead of going out and campaigning to the women to find out what THEY want, is just goign to his wife. That's nice and dandy, but if his wife isn't in the workforce actively seeking a position (and struggling to find and/or keep a job while raising the kids), she can share her opinion, but it shouldn't be the SOLE source of "what working women are feeling" that Romney should seek.
