Given the authority that was vested in Congress with respect to DC (Article 1 Section 8 Clause 17 says that Congress has "exclusive legislation in all cases whatsoever" over the District of Columbia), then the 1973 Home Rule Act is unconstitutional and Muriel Bowser's municipal government should not exist; the Home Rule Act is as unconstitutional as making DC a state. |

Here is footage of the recent Trump press conference in the White House sorry white House Briefing Room with the well-dressed, well-groomed Hegseth and Bondi alongside providing support. You will notice a couple unfortunate incidents that or which occurred in the audience, one where someone unsuccessfully attempted to steal a laptop before being set upon by the press corps, the other being an altercation between a couple reporters. In the latter incident, I especially like the reporter to the left who was an innocent bystander and who had her/they hand raised in order to be recognized by the President to ask a question but then, upon becoming aware of the unfolding incident, lowered her hand and looked to her/they left to see what exactly was going on.
