He moved to the US in 1947. He told us repeatedly when I was a kid in the ‘70s that he fully expected anti-Semitism to rise in the US eventually and that another Holocaust was very possible. He died in 2007. Now it looks like he was right. He told us that anti-Semitism will always rise whenever society is in trouble. I think we are seeing that now too, with the new extreme Leftist Democratic Party, sympathy for murderers on college campuses and attacks on Jews everywhere. |
