Everything you once thought was unthinkable is now thinkable. The genie has been released from his bottle.I am not really surprised by any of this. Some of you knuckleheads thought I was being paranoid and that I should wear a tinfoil hat. I’ll bet you don’t think that way anymore. You see, I had an uncle who went through Bergen Belsen, losing his parents and two sisters. He was religious before the Holocaust but afterward became angry at God and became staunchly anti-Orthodox. He moved to the US in 1947. He told us repeatedly when I was a kid in the ‘70s that he fully expected anti-Semitism to rise in the US eventually and that another Holocaust was very possible. He died in 2007. Now it looks like he was right. He told us that anti-Semitism will always rise whenever society is in trouble. I think we are seeing that now too, with the new extreme Leftist Democratic Party, sympathy for murderers on college campuses and attacks on Jews everywhere. |
