So it seems the issue has to do with the language vis a vis ICE and a proposed draft that said "Free Palestine" is anti-Semitic speech. There was a clear partisan edge to Evans's resolution that Democrats objected to. Bipartisan language, shockingly, had bipartisan support.

MTG also voted present on the resolution that did pass, though I have no idea why.
