The negatives on the Trump side are fewer than the negatives on the Biden side. Biden's gun platform is a massive negative for me.1. Trump failed (and will continue to fail) on this, but I'm quite willing to punt this along 4 more years. 3. The SALT cap is a tax on the rich. I'm not affluent enough to be affected by it therefore I don't care. AOC likes the SALT cap for the same reason. 5. Since I've made that list I've found the wall is useful, I just still am wary of it and think there's better things to spend money on. 6. DACA is literally propping up illegal immigration, I am in favor of legal immigration only. He's signaled several times that he wants to find a path to legitimacy for them while closing the door to future applicants. 8. He's repositioning them from Germany to elsewhere in Europe partly for strategery and partly to punish Germany for not paying their fair share. (The countries he's moving them to also don't pay their fair share but whatever...) 9. Yup, it bugs me, but considering the two recently discussed federal high profile death penalty cases were for a white supremacist and the Boston bomber, I'm not particularly concerned at the moment. |

My answers to your post:1) The answer to universal health care is going back to the insurance companies. Not perfect but much better than government control. While I think everyone should have hospitalization coverage, I also think people should pay for their own doctor's visits. And there should never be forced coverage of things like birth control or abortions. 3) I live in NY and pay high property taxes and thought I'd get killed with the tax plan but as it turned out I ended up doing better. 5) So he's for the wall. I'm all for keeping illegals out too. 6) OK, I'll give you that. I'm for Daca too. 8) I trust him on foreign affairs, especially concerning the Middle East and Israel 9) So what? A lot of politicians are pro death penalty. I'm against the death penalty, but that's only one issue when most of Trump's issues is positive. |
