I've already said this:-Republicans never go anywhere with a mandate. They don't push their populist positions. So yes, when Democrats get control they will push unconstitutional gun control and nominate a supreme court justice who will side with them, making an effective permanent change. -Reverse? I didn't say anything of the sort. Someone hard-right would run roughshod over the 1st and 4th amendments while happily leaving in the pro-tyranny restrictions placed on the 2nd by the Biden admin. And "ultraconservative", hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. Ultraconservative would be: -No immigration -Christianity and prayer required in schools -Pro-life with no exceptions -Imperialist military -Marxism banned from higher ed and nonprofits And a ton of more things far, far worse than anything that has ever had any chance at passing during the Trump admin. |
