It's not the endorsement itself it's her reasoning why - that he can be pressured, not that he himself holds those views. The far left know they're getting someone malleable.

Funny aside: Trump wasn't David Duke's first choice, he originally endorsed Tulsi Gabbard...

And there's nothing Trump has done that's remotely as terrible as the left's current platform of defund/abolish the police combined with the most unconstitutional gun platform in history (see page 43):
-end online sales of guns and ammunition
-prevent individuals who have been convicted of hate crimes from possessing firearms (note: pouring paint on "Black Lives Matter" counts as a hate crime)
-ban the manufacture and sale of assault weapons (whatever those are) and high capacity magazines
-licensing requirements for owning firearms and “red flag” laws (a litany of issues with red flag laws)
-pass legislation requiring that guns be safely stored in homes (aka in a state completely useless for repelling a home invasion)
