It's a perception thanks to a vocal Twitter minority, and feckless Democrats catering to it.That having been said, there has been a more moderate leftward movement on healthcare, and environmental issues. Thanks to the small-state bias (not going to call it a rural bias because that's inaccurate), Congress will always be more conservative than the country as a whole.* *I actually think this is a good thing, but it's too far under the current setup. |
