You've articulated precisely the argument in favor of what looks like TDS. When Trump is incompetent on almost every level* it is right to criticize him for almost everything he does.

* Even when he's right he's wrong. A good argument can be made for buying Greenland, but his negotiating style has sabotaged any possibility of it happening for decades.
