Young Republicans stay Republicans and Young Democrats stay Democrats. If you look at the biographies of many political figures today, they were already liberals or conservatives in high school or at least college.I also believe that political beliefs are partly in-born. Political beliefs are built around the individual's natural inclinations toward respect, loyalty, sense of justice, etc and the political beliefs are then built around that foundation based on both the environment the individual grows up in and their personal experiences. |
