But never in such a serious manner. The political implications of this are enormous. People will compare Obama to Nixon. His operatives in the media now have to defend the politically indefensible. That "media loves and protects Obama" meme the right loves will be underscored severely in the coming days (MSNBC is already in damage control mode). But most importantly, it strongly indicates that the President was directly involved in the Fast And Furious operation, the coverup, or both. EP applies to the President, meaning what he wants to withhold is potentially damaging to him, not just Holder. |
