It's only racial in that the darker your skin is, the more likely you are to be accidentally shot. The situation would warrant more investigation even if the shooter has been black.If you are told by a police representative not to pursue a suspicious character, and you do so anyway, and shoot him in "self defense", a thorough investigation is merited no matter what your skin color is or that of the person being shot. |
