Every time we tell either Chris, or Train Dude, or Olog, that production of natural gas or oil in the US and Canada is increasing, especially in the last 4 years, all you get is silence.

It's not them I'm trying to reach, it's those who might be listening to them :).

And given that the main board is about rail, they seem to totally deny the fact that oil can be transported by rail.

Casually railfanning in one's spare time or being employed in the industry doesn't necessarily make one believe that rail should be funded or used as a public good.
