No excuses, the phrase should never have been used . . but, let's see. . .the anchor says it on air, apologizes next day and is suspended. The headline writer, probably some young kid, later the same night, obviously picking up on the phrase the anchor used, uses the same phrase (before the furor arises), and is fired??? |
