Which is probably why it went through ... if it was intentional though, definitely a reason to shitcan the editor and the writer for it. I can only assume here, and base my judgement on what is proper editorial practice for a news organization. I don't do ESPN, so I'm not aware of their standard modus operendi there. Then again, ESPN is Disney and so they should have been extra fearful of the rodent no matter what. :)

In computer security (which is what I do now) the term "chink in the armor" is often used to describe bad security policy and there's lots of Asians in this industry. I haven't noticed anyone getting miffed when I use the phrase in its proper context. But then again, I don't work for the mouse either. :)
