The graphs do not make any sense. For varying income segments purportedly reflected in the electoral maps to the left the 'Average income within the state' does not vary. One would expect that if each electoral map is indicating differing income, then the X axis of the accompanying graph would change. If the X axis only indicates the average income of all people within the state, not just those who are within the income group indicated by the map at left, then the regression is completely worthless because the X and Y axis are not dependent upon the same data set.

Additionally, what counts as 'rich' or 'poor' in this thing? When was the data compiled? Where is the methodology behind this otherwise useless series of graphs?
