Then the data along the X axis should vary to reflect the income of the segment of the population reflected in the Y axis. why the data is trying to show that rich voters in poor states are more likely to vote republican than rich voters in rich states. to prove that point what matters is the income level for the state as whole rather than for that particular income segment. Great, eight years ago. So lets use data from 1992 to predict the 2000 elections. the book was published before the 2008 election. if you have evidence that things have change post it, if not STFU Because the conclusion which you attempt to draw with that graph is not supported by the invalid nature of those graphs. the is nothing invalid about the graphs. i post the graphic more for the map than the graphs anyway. If you're referring to SMAZ's OP in this thread then that is simply data from which one can draw their own conclusions. smaz was drawing a conclusion without the evidence to back it up, that because areas that are more likely to vote Republican have more people who get on welfare that there for it is the people on welfare voting republican. that data I'm posting shows that it is the rich people in the places with lots of people on welfare that more likely to vote Republican not the people on welfare. |
