why the data is trying to show that rich voters in poor states are more likely to vote republican than rich voters in rich states. to prove that point what matters is the income level for the state as whole rather than for that particular income segment.

That conclusion is not internally valid for the data offered in this instance. You have a correlation, but cannot draw the conclusion you're claiming from it. Without knowing the sizes of the populations for each of the income groups in each of the states, amongst other things, it is impossible to know whether the data as it has been presented supports to conclusion you claim it does.

smaz was drawing a conclusion without the evidence to back it up, that because areas that are more likely to vote Republican have more people who get on welfare that there for it is the people on welfare voting republican. that data I'm posting shows that it is the rich people in the places with lots of people on welfare that more likely to vote Republican not the people on welfare.

SMAZ may have drawn a conclusion, but he also linked to all the data he used to reach that conclusion. You can read the same thing and reach a different conclusion, something not possible with the horribly constructed graphs you attempted to use to support your case.
