For varying income segments purportedly reflected in the electoral maps to the left the 'Average income within the state' does not vary.

that shows what is says the total average income of the state.


. If the X axis only indicates the average income of all people within the state, not just those who are within the income group indicated by the map at left, then the regression is completely worthless because the X and Y axis are not dependent upon the same data set.

it's not worthless it's showing the way that rich voters in rich states differ from voters in poor states.


Additionally, what counts as 'rich' or 'poor' in this thing?

poor voters are the 0-16th percentile middle income voters rich voters were the 95th-100th percentile.

When was the data compiled?

2004 exit polls.


Where is the methodology behind this otherwise useless series of graphs?


if you want all the information get the book. it's interesting that you are more bothered by me posting a graph without a full explaination than you are by SMAZ posting stupid photos as evidence of his case.
