Despite my complaints I'm honored to be on the list of liberals. Regardless of philosophy, I've always preferred the word liberal to conservative. The former is based on the same root as the word liberty and the latter is based on conserving the Ancien Régime.

There's a reason why I like to style myself a classical liberal (classical has a nice ring to it to).
