Neighborhood names are clear cut in Queens. They are divided up by zip code. If you are in 11379, you are in Middle Village, and so forth.However, the same is not true in Manhattan, Bronx, and Brooklyn. Zip codes do NOT divide up neighborhoods by their lines in those boroughs. One zip code could contain 2 or 3 "neighborhoods", and one neighborhood name can sometime be in 2 or even 3 zip codes. I don't know enough about Staten Island to comment. |
