My mistake. The conspiracy theory is not whether buses (and trucks technically) were wanted on the parkways or not, the conspiracy theory is that the bridges were not done because they were to be roads of leisure and no commercial traffic, but the claim (which I don't believe) is that the bridges were made low specifically to ban city people, specifically Blacks from using the parkways to the beach. |
