Yes, Bill I agree with your observation of the continued bastardization of the English language. June nineteenth just had to be “shorted’ to Juneteenth just to rub it in. Is it necessary to play ‘catch up’ with our former European allies by declaring every “who really gives a shit day” and proclaiming it a National Holiday?. Groundhog Day can’t be too far behind.
