Paying a whole lot of people to sit home and collect holiday pay for doing nothing is a veiled form of reparations. Evanston Illinois is the first American city who at least has the balls to call reparations what they really are, a feel good handout. 400k handout to qualified households with a commitment to 10 million over 10 years. When Evanston tied the giveaway to mortgage reduction and home improvements slave descendants had a shit fit. They want the money unfettered by such restrictions. Just give us the money. |
