How about the south Ward when school lets out?

I remember a particularly brave and dedicated Newark officer who was recently killed. He was watching over high school kids leaving school. A car pulled up to the curb and a man got out making threats of violence, right in front of the officer and his partner! When the officer detained him and tried to question him, he pulled out a gun and shot the officer in the head. The other officer fired back and wounded the suspect, who was captured a couple of blocks away.

This scumbag murdered a police officer in broad daylight, in front of hundreds of schoolkids. He threatened the whole community.

I'm told this is not an unusual occurrence down there.
