Something caused them to shoot. 50 shots is inappropriate and reckless in any circumstance, this is why I say they should be sent to prison. I'm usually defending the cops however this was very dangerous and absolutely unnecessary. A couple of shots fine but this was recklessness. I'm sure they were spooked but one who is given responsibility of a gun should keep focus in any given pressure. I don't know all details, I do know 50 shots are more than what should have been fired.
