Well, I'll take you at your word about your education although you don't say how far along you are in your studies. However, things look great on paper, but as we found out in the realworld of Ronell Wilson, the criminals don't follow Robert's Rules of Order.

I can imagine the chaos of that night - though, I too don't have the facts. I can imagine the officer being targetted by a drunk Sean Bell, firing to stop the attacking vehicle. Other officers, may have come to the fellow officer's aid while others, not realizing that they were all police bullets, also opened fire. The objective of every cop is to get home to their family safely at the end of the day. I'm personally gratified that each of these officers did just that.

Perhaps Sean Bell did not deserve to die on that night. Perhaps he was simply too drunk to drive and did not aim his car at the cop. One thing we do know was that Sean bell and his friends were simple street thugs with long criminal records. Their life expectancy would deservatively be measured in months and not years. The 5 cops (2 white, 2 hispanic and one black) all have unblemished records. Until all of the facts are known, I'd say they deserve the benifit of the doubt, rather than the street thug, Sean bell.
