A new kitten! |

Posted by Peter Rosa on Sat Nov 11 16:30:42 2006 Our cat Baci had a kitten around noon yesterday. While it's unusual for a cat to give birth to just one kitten at a time, it's not unprecedented. I had Thursday off of work, and Baci spent most of the day either (1) rubbing up against me and purring, or (2) savagely attacking the other cats, so we figured it wouldn't be long. We were preparing a seldom-used food closet in the back for Baci to use but she had other ideas, and had the kitten in the living room coat closet.The little kitten is so cute! It's mostly gray with dark stripes, basically a tabby coloration. We'll of course have to keep it, which means our cat census will stand at eight: Baci, Ralphy, Dipsy, Merlin, Sherbert, Princess, Toby, and the new kitten (Merlin, Sherbert and Princess are from Baci's previous litter two years ago.)
