Posted by JayZeeBMT on Tue Jan 29 16:37:18 2019 Two assailants described as white men allegedly carried out a vicious gay-bashing, racial assault against Jussie Smollett, the openly gay star of the hit TV series Empire in Chicago early this morning. The suspects accosted Smollett at a Subway restaurant around 2 AM, asking the actor, "aren't you that fa**ot 'Empire' ni**er?", before placing a noose around Smollett's neck, pouring bleach on him, and breaking his rib. As the attackers fled the scene, they yelled, "This is MAGA country," police noted. Smollett was treated and released at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.Police are reviewing surveillance footage of the attack, as well as a letter mailed to the Chicago Fox affiliate last week, which threatened Smollett's life, and bore the word "MAGA" in its upper left-hand corner. The suspects are both still at large. The violence of the Trump cult continues. |
